  • • As an Insurance Sales Team Lead, you will report directly to the Director of Contact Center Operations and serve as a critical player-coach. Your primary responsibility will be to guide and develop a team of Insurance Sales Agents, fostering a culture of excellence and driving success in a high-velocity sales environment. At Jerry, we go beyond simply selling insurance; we are committed to simplifying the often-complex and costly aspects of car ownership for our rapidly expanding base of over 5 million customers. You will be instrumental in ensuring your team delivers a tailored, seamless, and empowering experience for every customer, acting as the vital link between day-to-day operational execution and overarching strategic initiatives. Your leadership will not only focus on achieving aggressive sales targets but also on collaborating closely with our Product and Engineering teams to shape the future of the innovative Jerry super app.
  • • Your role will be multifaceted, demanding a blend of leadership, coaching, operational oversight, and direct customer engagement. You will be responsible for cultivating a team that consistently performs at the highest level through rigorous performance coaching. This involves conducting detailed call audits, meticulously tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing comprehensive, individualized monthly coaching sessions designed for talent development and career acceleration. You will manage the day-to-day operations of your assigned squad, overseeing essential functions such as team scheduling, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring a smooth and effective onboarding process for new, high-caliber hires. Your commitment to operational excellence will extend to providing invaluable, direct feedback to our Product Managers and Engineering teams. This feedback loop is crucial for enhancing our internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), refining our cutting-edge GenAI tools, and continuously improving the overall Jerry app experience for both our agents and our customers.
  • • To truly lead by example and maintain a deep understanding of the customer journey, you will frequently engage in direct customer interactions. This hands-on approach involves hopping onto the front lines to simplify insurance jargon, expertly prepare quotes, and successfully bind policies, ensuring you remain sharp and attuned to the nuances of the customer experience. Furthermore, you will play a pivotal role in our growth strategy by collaborating across the broader insurance operations team. This collaboration will focus on identifying critical gaps in current coverage offerings and proactively developing innovative strategies to increase new business policy sales and enhance customer retention rates. You will be a champion for a customer-first culture, ensuring every interaction builds trust and reinforces Jerry's mission to make car ownership simpler and more affordable.
