As we continue to scale, we are seeking a talented Integration Engineer to build and maintain the critical connections that link our innovative platform with our customers' diverse technology stacks.
• In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and maintaining robust custom integrations between the AirOps platform and a variety of customer Content Management Systems (CMSs), including popular platforms such as WordPress, Contentful, Sanity, and others. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring seamless data flow and functionality, enabling our clients to leverage AirOps effectively within their existing workflows.
• A key aspect of your responsibility will involve deeply understanding and gathering customer integration requirements. You will act as a technical liaison, translating these business needs into detailed technical specifications that guide the development process. This requires a blend of strong communication skills and technical acumen to accurately capture and articulate complex integration needs.
• You will be responsible for implementing and managing API integrations, primarily focusing on RESTful services and JSON data formats, with a variety of third-party platforms. This includes integrating with essential tools such as task management systems (e.g., Asana, Jira, Monday.com, ClickUp), enabling a comprehensive and connected user experience.
• Documentation is a critical component of this role. You will create comprehensive integration patterns, develop clear and concise setup guides, and contribute to technical enablement materials for our Customer Success teams. Your documentation will empower our clients and internal teams, ensuring successful adoption and ongoing support of our integrations.
• Beyond individual integrations, you will contribute to the strategic development of reusable integration frameworks and templates. This forward-thinking approach will enable us to scale our integration capabilities efficiently across our growing customer base, reducing development time and ensuring consistency.
• Proactive monitoring of integration health is essential. You will implement robust error handling mechanisms, troubleshoot issues promptly, and ensure the security and integrity of all data exchanges between AirOps and integrated systems. Maintaining high availability and reliability of our integrations will be a top priority.
• Collaboration is key to our success. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Software Engineering, and Customer Experience (CX). By identifying common integration needs and challenges, you will provide valuable insights that directly inform our product roadmap and future development efforts, helping to shape the evolution of the AirOps platform.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building production software and API integrations.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Python.
• Proven experience designing and implementing REST APIs and web services.
• Hands-on experience with modern web development practices and tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, especially when debugging complex integration issues.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making pragmatic technical decisions in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience gathering technical requirements and translating them into working solutions.
• Direct experience building integrations with CMSs (WordPress, Prismic, Contentful, Webflow, etc.) (Nice to have).
• Familiarity with task management APIs (Asana, Jira, Monday.com, ClickUp) (Nice to have).
• Knowledge of webhook architectures and event-driven systems (Nice to have).
• Interest in or experience with generative AI and content marketing workflows (Nice to have).
