- • The Digital Properties and Innovation Intern will support the Southern Poverty Law Center’s digital presence across social media, web platforms, and analytics, contributing to mission-driven campaigns that advance social justice and engage diverse audiences.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing social media content creation, scheduling, publishing, and audience engagement; assisting with website updates and content entry via CMS; tracking and reporting digital performance metrics using analytics tools; researching digital trends and audience behavior; and collaborating with Communications teams to support digital initiatives while upholding JEDI principles.
- • The intern will join the Digital Media team within SPLC’s Communications department, working remotely from one of the specified Southern U.S. locations (Atlanta, GA; Montgomery, AL; Jackson, MS; Miami, FL; New Orleans, LA) with expected participation in occasional in-person events and office-related activities.
- • This role offers hands-on experience in digital strategy, content performance analysis, and mission-aligned communications, enabling the intern to build practical skills in social media management, web analytics, content systems, and collaborative campaign execution within a nationally recognized civil rights organization.
