  • • Manage inventory transactions across multiple projects, ensuring all material movements are properly documented and aligned with ERP/WMS procedures, including material requisitions and post-movement verification.
  • • Conduct monthly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy, reduce variances, and ensure compliance with organizational inventory standards.
  • • Verify Bill of Materials (BOM) completeness for production jobs prior to release, ensuring all required parts are available and correctly identified.
  • • Issue materials and components to production floor jobs per specifications, including kitting jobs and grouping like materials on job carts to streamline assembly.
  • • Pull sheet metal and prepare materials for CNC operators to reduce production downtime and improve workflow efficiency.
  • • Perform physical inventory counts annually and assist with reconciliation of discrepancies through root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • • Utilize ERP system to accurately track, record, and update inventory levels, transactions, and material statuses in real time.
  • • Assist in annual inventory planning, including forecasting needs, identifying surplus stock, and coordinating disposal of scrap and excess materials.
  • • Provide warehouse support as needed, including receiving incoming shipments, unloading trucks, cleaning work areas, and picking up materials from designated lots.
  • • Ensure all inventory activities comply with safety protocols and facility standards, maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
  • • Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and minimize production delays.
  • • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, adjustments, and discrepancies for audit readiness and operational transparency.
  • • Support just-in-time production goals by ensuring materials are available when needed, reducing excess stock while avoiding shortages.
  • • Follow all company policies regarding safety-sensitive procedures, including participation in the drug and alcohol program.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3-5 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment
  • • Proficiency with ERP or MRP systems for inventory tracking and transaction management
  • • Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting, lowering, pushing, and pulling materials
  • • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory documentation and recordkeeping
  • • Understanding of production floor workflows and material handling requirements
  • • Willingness to comply with safety-sensitive position requirements, including drug and alcohol program participation
