• • As an Investment & Venture Studio Associate, you will be instrumental in sourcing and rigorously evaluating potential investment and acquisition opportunities that align seamlessly with Foundry for Good's overarching strategic objectives. This includes proactively identifying companies and ventures that resonate with our mission to foster positive change through innovative business solutions.
• • A key aspect of this role involves cultivating and nurturing robust relationships with a diverse network of founders, fellow investors, and industry intermediaries. By building these strong connections, you will significantly enhance our deal flow and ensure a consistent stream of high-quality opportunities for evaluation.
• • You will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and engagement of the Foundry for Good Angel Network, contributing to its expansion and effectiveness in connecting promising ventures with vital capital and mentorship.
• • The position requires conducting comprehensive market research, performing in-depth financial analysis, and executing strategic assessments of potential deals. This analytical rigor is essential for making informed investment decisions and understanding the potential impact and viability of each opportunity.
• • You will actively assist in the due diligence process, contribute to deal structuring, and prepare detailed internal investment memos that clearly articulate the rationale and risks associated with each proposed investment.
• • A significant part of your contribution will be refining and documenting our venture studio frameworks. This involves developing and improving the processes and methodologies that underpin our venture creation and incubation efforts, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
• • You will be responsible for maintaining clear visibility into the entire investment pipeline, tracking opportunities across all stages of evaluation, from initial sourcing to final decision.
• • Furthermore, you will support various initiatives aimed at positioning Foundry for Good as a proactive and strategic investor, enhancing our visibility and attractiveness within the investment community.
• • This role operates within a work-from-home setup, offering flexibility and autonomy. The target is to achieve 42.5 billable hours per week, ensuring a focused and productive work environment.
