📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI for Coins.ph, the leading crypto platform in the Philippines with over 18 million users.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate complex financial and crypto features into intuitive, secure, and scalable mobile experiences.
• Implement and enforce secure coding practices to protect user funds and sensitive financial data in compliance with BSP regulations and industry best practices.
• Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and battery efficiency across a wide range of iOS devices and OS versions to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Integrate third-party APIs and SDKs for cryptocurrency transactions, fiat on/off ramps, identity verification, and payment processing systems.
• Conduct code reviews, write unit and UI tests, and participate in agile sprints to maintain code quality and deliver features on schedule.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical bugs and crashes reported by users, prioritizing issues that impact transaction integrity or regulatory compliance.
• Stay current with Apple’s latest iOS frameworks, design guidelines, and security updates to ensure the app remains compliant and competitive.
• Work closely with QA teams to validate features against functional and non-functional requirements, including accessibility, localization, and performance benchmarks.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the mobile development lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
• Participate in user feedback sessions and analytics reviews to identify usability pain points and drive product enhancements based on real-world usage patterns.
• Ensure all mobile features align with Coins.ph’s regulatory obligations as a licensed Virtual Currency and Electronic Money Issuer under the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
• Document technical decisions, architecture changes, and API integrations to support knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
• Advocate for user-centric design principles while balancing technical constraints and business goals in a fast-paced fintech environment.
• Engage in cross-functional initiatives to expand Coins.ph’s financial services ecosystem, including wallet functionality, staking, lending, and crypto-to-fiat conversions.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficient in Swift and SwiftUI for iOS app development
• Experience building and shipping production-grade iOS applications with a focus on security and performance
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party SDK integrations
• Understanding of mobile security best practices and compliance requirements in fintech
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex mobile issues
