📋 Description

• The IRB Associate Director supports the Institutional Review Board (IRB) Director in managing all administrative functions related to human subject research review across The Chicago School campuses, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and institutional policies.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include processing research applications, conducting preliminary reviews for compliance, responding to inquiries from students and faculty, reviewing exemption and modification requests, preparing materials for IRB meetings, drafting meeting minutes, maintaining the IRB database, and assisting in training sessions.
• The Chicago School, part of TCS Education System, is a nonprofit, accredited institution dedicated to psychology and related behavioral sciences, with a mission to advance education, research, and service in mental health and human behavior.
• This role offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in research ethics and regulatory compliance, develop leadership skills in IRB administration, and contribute to the ethical integrity of academic research while working remotely with a mission-driven team.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in IRB administration
• Knowledge of OHRP regulations and ethical principles for human subject research
