- • As an IT Administrator at OpenFX Ltd, you will be the cornerstone of our internal technology infrastructure, ensuring that our engineering, operations, risk, and finance teams have the reliable, secure, and efficient systems they need to thrive in a high-speed, high-trust environment.
- • You will take ownership of end-to-end IT operations, managing everything from device provisioning and endpoint setup to troubleshooting complex hardware, software, and network issues. Your primary goal will be to maintain optimal uptime and responsiveness for all internal systems, acting as the first line of defense against operational disruptions.
- • A critical aspect of your role will be to orchestrate seamless onboarding and offboarding processes for our growing team. This includes ensuring zero-delay laptop provisioning, accurately granting role-based access, and meticulously revoking access upon employee departure, all while maintaining clean, auditable access logs to uphold our security and compliance standards.
- • You will be responsible for administering our core identity and access management systems, including platforms like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Jira, and GitHub. This involves implementing and managing role-based access control (RBAC), conducting periodic access reviews, and optimizing license utilization to control costs and ensure compliance.
- • Managing the complete IT asset lifecycle will be under your purview. This encompasses meticulous inventory tracking, tagging, and regular audits, as well as monitoring device health, coordinating repairs and replacements, and planning for future hardware refreshes and depreciation.
- • You will lead IT procurement and vendor management efforts, handling hardware and software purchasing, forecasting license needs, managing renewals, and negotiating vendor contracts and service level agreements (SLAs). Close collaboration with the Finance team to align IT spending with budgetary requirements will be essential.
- • Supporting IT security and compliance initiatives is paramount. This includes monitoring endpoint security, ensuring timely patch management and updates, assisting in audit preparations for standards like ISO and PCI, and maintaining comprehensive documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and IT policies.
- • You will also play a key role in supporting office and infrastructure scaling, including network setup, Wi-Fi management, router and firewall coordination, and ensuring the reliability of conference room technology as the company expands.
- • Success in this role will be measured by your ability to deliver zero-friction onboarding, ensuring new hires are productive from day one. You will also be evaluated on your access discipline, maintaining no lingering permissions or orphaned accounts, and your contribution to operational reliability through minimal IT downtime and fast issue resolution.
- • Furthermore, your effectiveness will be gauged by cost efficiency through optimized licenses and controlled vendor spend, audit readiness with clean asset inventories and documented processes, and the overall internal trust your responsive and effective IT support fosters among all teams.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to build and shape the IT function within a dynamic and rapidly scaling organization. You will have the autonomy to implement best practices, drive efficiency, and directly impact the company's operational success and security posture.
- • By treating internal systems with the same rigor applied to money movement – reliability, security, documentation, and scalability – you will transform IT from a support function into an invisible force multiplier for OpenFX Ltd.
- • You will be instrumental in managing the day-to-day technical operations, ensuring that all employees have the tools and access they need to perform their jobs effectively and securely.
- • This includes proactive monitoring of systems to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact productivity.
- • You will also be involved in evaluating new technologies and tools that can enhance our operational efficiency and security.
- • The ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders will be crucial for your success.
- • You will be a key point of contact for all IT-related queries and issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- • Your work will directly contribute to the company's ability to scale its operations and maintain a competitive edge in a fast-paced industry.
- • This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of IT systems and a commitment to providing exceptional internal support.
- • You will be empowered to make decisions and implement solutions that improve our IT infrastructure and processes.
- • The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges as they arise.
- • Ultimately, you will be the guardian of our digital workspace, ensuring its integrity and efficiency at all times.
