• • Own the full requirements lifecycle: run stakeholder workshops, map complex clinical workflows, and translate regulatory, security, and user-experience needs into crystal-clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering teams can implement without ambiguity.
• • Architect scalable, HIPAA-ready cloud solutions on AWS/GCP. You will design data models, draw system diagrams, and specify microservice interactions that can handle 10× patient growth while staying compliant and cost-efficient.
• • Evaluate technical feasibility early. When product owners dream up new features—AI triage bots, real-time insurance verification, or multi-party video visits—you will run spike analyses, size effort, surface risks, and recommend phased roll-outs that balance speed, quality, and budget.
• • Optimize end-to-end processes. Audit API integrations with labs, pharmacies, and EHRs; remove bottlenecks in patient onboarding flows; and introduce automation that cuts average consultation prep time from minutes to seconds.
• • Collaborate daily with a cross-functional squad of 6–10 engineers, QA analysts, UX designers, and clinical experts in Prague and the US. You will facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and architecture reviews, ensuring every ticket is unblocked and every release lands on time.
• • Drive data-driven decisions. Build dashboards in Mixpanel, Redshift, or Looker to monitor system latency, appointment conversion rates, and infrastructure cost per patient. Turn insights into actionable tickets that improve reliability and user satisfaction.
• • Maintain living documentation. Your Confluence pages, Miro boards, and OpenAPI specs will be the single source of truth for developers, auditors, and future hires. Version everything, keep diagrams current, and make onboarding new engineers a breeze.
• • Report progress to C-level stakeholders in San Francisco every week. Translate burndown charts, velocity trends, and architecture trade-offs into concise narratives that enable fast, informed decisions.
• • Champion security and compliance. While HIPAA knowledge is a plus, your relentless attention to encryption, access control, audit logging, and penetration-test remediation will ensure patient data remains fortress-level safe.
