đź“‹ Description
- • The IT Applications Administrator at AuditBoard, Inc. is a critical hands-on role responsible for the design, implementation, governance, administration, and maintenance of essential IT applications that power the company’s operations. This role ensures the smooth functioning and optimal utilization of core SaaS platforms, AI tools, and identity systems while driving cost efficiency through FinOps principles. As a key enabler of AuditBoard’s strategic objectives, the administrator supports a fast-growing, mid-market SaaS organization by maintaining application reliability, security, and user productivity across a remote/hybrid workforce.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include administering core SaaS applications such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), Slack, and Lucidchart, serving as the expert escalation point for IT Support. The role involves governing enterprise AI tools like Gemini, NotebookLM, Slack AI, and OpenAI in collaboration with IT Architecture and Engineering teams. The administrator resolves complex application escalations rapidly to minimize downtime, manages identity and access controls in coordination with InfoSec and Endpoint Management, and builds and maintains a comprehensive knowledge base of configurations, processes, and best practices. Additional duties include delivering cross-functional solutions by partnering with business stakeholders, evolving the tech stack through evaluation and implementation of new applications, driving FinOps initiatives to optimize SaaS licensing and costs, championing innovation by monitoring emerging SaaS and AI trends, designing and documenting IT workflows autonomously, managing projects independently with high autonomy, executing at pace in a dynamic environment, and initiating strategic alignment conversations with Security, Engineering, and Finance teams to unblock projects and mature internal systems.
- • AuditBoard, Inc. (operating under the brand Optro) is a leading audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec platform trusted by more than 50% of the Fortune 500, including seven of the Fortune 10. The company has surpassed $300M ARR and has been recognized as one of the 500 fastest-growing tech companies in North America for seven consecutive years by Deloitte. AuditBoard fosters a culture of customer obsession, gritty resilience, innovation, teamwork, and a growth mindset, where employees are encouraged to think in orders of magnitude and continuously improve.
- • In this role, the IT Applications Administrator will develop deep expertise in enterprise SaaS and AI governance, strengthen FinOps and cost management capabilities, and gain experience in identity lifecycle automation and cross-functional technology enablement. The individual will grow as a proactive, self-driven technologist capable of designing and executing IT processes from scratch, influencing strategic decisions, and contributing to the scalability and security of AuditBoard’s technology foundation in a high-velocity SaaS environment.
