📋 Description

  • • As the IT Asset Management Coordinator at ComputerCare, Inc., you will be instrumental in orchestrating the complete lifecycle of our clients' critical IT assets, ensuring seamless operations and unparalleled accuracy. This pivotal role places you at the nexus of our service delivery, acting as the central point of contact for device tracking, management, and readiness. You will be the guardian of our asset data, meticulously maintaining its integrity from the moment a device enters our care to its final deployment or disposition.
  • • Your primary responsibility will involve the diligent intake and processing of a diverse range of IT assets, including laptops, tablets, and mobile phones. This includes accurately checking devices in, performing initial diagnostic assessments to identify their condition and any potential issues, and meticulously documenting all findings. You will be responsible for opening and managing service tickets, ensuring that each device's journey through our repair and refurbishment processes is clearly tracked and communicated.
  • • A key facet of this role is the verification of hardware and software warranties. You will leverage your keen eye for detail and understanding of service agreements to confirm warranty status, which is crucial for efficient and cost-effective service delivery. This proactive approach helps prevent unexpected costs for our clients and ensures they receive the full benefit of their existing support contracts.
  • • You will serve as a vital link between our technical teams and our clients, providing clear and concise updates on the status of their devices. This involves explaining the next steps in the repair or deployment journey, managing expectations, and ensuring a transparent and positive customer experience. Your ability to translate technical processes into understandable information will be highly valued.
  • • Maintaining the accuracy and completeness of our IT asset inventory database is paramount. You will be responsible for updating records with every movement, repair, or change in status for each device. This meticulous record-keeping is the foundation upon which our operational efficiency and client trust are built.
  • • This role demands a proactive approach to logistics, ensuring that devices are moved efficiently and securely between different sites or departments as needed. You will coordinate with internal teams to facilitate smooth transitions and prevent any disruption to client operations.
  • • You will play a crucial role in the deployment process, ensuring that devices are configured, tested, and ready for use before they are issued to end-users. This involves working closely with IT support teams to guarantee that all assets meet the required specifications and are prepared for immediate productivity.
  • • Beyond the day-to-day tasks, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT asset management processes. By identifying bottlenecks, suggesting efficiencies, and implementing best practices, you will help ComputerCare maintain its position as a leader in IT lifecycle management.
  • • This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of a company that values both technical expertise and the human element. You will be part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional service, where your contributions directly impact the productivity and success of innovative companies worldwide. Your work will ensure that technology doesn't just function, but functions reliably and efficiently, powered by a well-managed and accounted-for asset base.
  • • If you thrive in an environment that rewards organization, problem-solving, and operational excellence, and you have a passion for technology and ensuring things run smoothly, this role is an ideal fit. You will be empowered to take ownership of your responsibilities and make a tangible difference in our clients' IT infrastructure.
