📋 Description

• IT Associates and Senior IT Associate roles at Coefficient Giving LLC, a philanthropic funder that has directed over $5 billion in grants since 2014 to high-impact causes including global health, AI safety, and climate solutions. The IT team supports the organization’s mission by maintaining reliable, secure technology infrastructure in a fully remote, macOS environment.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include providing technical helpdesk support to staff, managing Mac device fleets via MDM, maintaining IT infrastructure and security protocols, coordinating with vendors, documenting systems and procedures, and leading special projects such as security tool implementation, business app development, workflow automation, and onboarding improvements.
• The IT team operates within the Operations function and is managed by IT Lead Luke Willey. The organization values a proactive, detail-oriented approach to IT that balances flexibility with security, and encourages continuous learning in a dynamic tech ecosystem supporting mission-driven work.
• Successful candidates will develop expertise in enterprise macOS management, IT governance, security tooling, and cross-functional project leadership. Senior IT Associates may also gain experience managing 2–3 direct reports and owning key IT workstreams, with opportunities to shape technology strategy in a high-impact philanthropic setting.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, macOS environment
• Experience with helpdesk administration, device management (MDM), infrastructure maintenance, and security implementation
• Ability to work consultatively with senior staff and recommend technical solutions aligned with actual needs
• Comfort handling confidential information and navigating sensitive conversations around IT issues
• For Senior IT Associate consideration: 2+ years of experience managing a technical team and upholding high standards in IT support
