Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Lead end user IT operations across EMEA, ensuring service quality, asset lifecycle management, and operational readiness for a distributed workforce in a remote-first environment. This role is critical to maintaining seamless IT support that integrates with the global follow-the-sun model, directly impacting employee productivity and security across diverse geographic and infrastructural contexts.
- • Own EMEA IT service delivery by driving intake, triage, escalation, and closure of user issues with clear communication and timely updates; lead and coordinate a distributed support model managing remote IT engineers and MSPs through defined routines, accountability frameworks, and performance tracking; act as the primary escalation point for complex incidents, driving root cause analysis to reduce recurrence and improve system stability.
- • Own endpoint hygiene across macOS and Windows environments at scale, ensuring provisioning, device compliance, patching, and baseline security controls align with global standards; manage identity and access execution for joiners, movers, and leavers to ensure secure, timely provisioning and deprovisioning; own the full EMEA asset lifecycle including procurement, shipping, tracking, recovery, and auditing of devices and peripherals while maintaining accurate inventory and custody records.
- • Run EMEA operating cadence through weekly backlog reviews, SLA monitoring, and continuous improvement planning; coordinate office readiness where applicable by managing connectivity, meeting room equipment, and local vendor support; adapt to European and African operational realities by addressing logistics constraints, local sourcing challenges, and higher-latency environments with practical, scalable workarounds.
- • Maintain and update runbooks and documentation for EMEA and Africa-specific processes and recurring incident patterns to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency; support global IT and Security teams by aligning EMEA operations with broader enterprise initiatives; foster a culture of reliability, proactive problem-solving, and user-centric service delivery across geographically dispersed teams.
- • Develop deep expertise in managing IT operations in complex, multinational environments with varying infrastructure maturity; gain hands-on experience leading hybrid internal and vendor teams under a follow-the-sun model; strengthen skills in endpoint security, identity governance, asset lifecycle automation, and cross-cultural stakeholder communication.
- • Position yourself as a trusted IT operations leader capable of scaling support models in emerging markets while maintaining enterprise-grade standards; contribute to organizational resilience by improving IT service reliability and user satisfaction across EMEA; build a foundation for advancement into broader IT leadership, global operations, or IT service management roles within a growing, innovative tech company.
