- • As an IT Operations Engineer at Infinity Constellation Technologies Inc., you will serve as a strategic technical partner across a portfolio of ten companies, ranging from three-person startups to larger organizations with hundreds of contractors, ensuring seamless IT operations that directly enable business velocity and resilience. This role goes beyond traditional support—you will own end-to-end problem resolution in identity, SaaS platforms, endpoints, and security, working directly with founders, CEOs, and engineering teams to deliver pragmatic, business-aligned solutions.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include owning the full laptop lifecycle (procurement, provisioning, MDM enrollment, and ongoing management) across macOS and Windows endpoints, administering and troubleshooting core platforms like Google Workspace, JumpCloud, Slack, CrowdStrike, and Halo ITSM, managing identity and access through RBAC, SSO, and SCIM provisioning, and serving as the primary escalation point for complex, cross-company technical issues requiring judgment beyond runbooks.
- • You will actively drive operational improvement by identifying repetitive tasks, building small automations and scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell, maintaining practical documentation and runbooks, and collaborating proactively with engineering teams when issues span IT and platform/DevOps domains—turning friction into flow.
- • The IT team is small, senior, and highly autonomous, operating in a cloud-first, SaaS-native environment with no legacy infrastructure, where you’ll have direct visibility into decisions and real ownership over outcomes, supported by asynchronous workflows but requiring responsiveness during U.S. Eastern business hours.
- • You’ll gain deep exposure to active M&A activities, including standing up IT for new entities and managing migrations during divestitures—experiences rare in traditional IT roles—while developing strategic thinking by aligning technology solutions with the unique needs, maturity, and goals of each portfolio company.
- • Over time, you’ll evolve from executing tasks to owning judgment calls independently, becoming a trusted advisor whose name is known and welcomed by CEOs and founders who rely on you to keep their businesses moving fast and securely.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2–4 years of experience in IT operations, systems support, or a similar role in a SaaS-forward environment
- • Hands-on experience with identity platforms such as JumpCloud, Okta, or Azure AD, including practical understanding of SSO (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) and SCIM provisioning
- • Comfort supporting both macOS and Windows endpoints (90% Mac environment), with ability to read and write basic scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
