Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Manage end-to-end IT operations for a global company with 800+ employees across 5+ countries, focusing on device security, SaaS platforms, identity management, and employee IT experience.
  • • Work within the IT Community, initially shadowing senior teammates during the first two months before progressing to independent handling of IT operations issues including equipment setup, SaaS access requests, and account provisioning.
  • • Participate in the IT on-call rotation starting in month one, with buddy support, progressing to autonomously managing 40–60% of workdays on on-call shifts by month six.
  • • Own and optimize employee onboarding and offboarding workflows, ensuring seamless access provisioning and device handoffs using Kandji, Apple Business Manager, Google Workspace, and SSO.
  • • Contribute to "build" projects aimed at reducing operational toil, including improvements to MDM configurations, compliance documentation, and the development of self-service tools.
  • • Maintain and enhance device compliance across all countries by implementing and monitoring MDM, EDR, and FileVault policies.
  • • Deliver clear, structured documentation for all processes and systems to ensure institutional knowledge is not siloed and team continuity is preserved.
  • • Independently triage and resolve employee IT issues with a focus on timely communication, appropriate escalation, and preventing recurrence.
  • • Lead low to medium complexity IT projects end-to-end by the first year, with limited guidance, and progress to leading medium to high-complexity projects by year three.
  • • Continuously identify operational frictions, propose improvements, and implement automation or tooling to increase efficiency and reduce repetitive tasks.
  • • Act as a subject matter expert in at least one area beyond on-call duties—such as MDM, SaaS administration, or compliance—by the end of the first year.
  • • Mentor newer team members through knowledge sharing, documentation, and peer support to reduce bus factor and strengthen team resilience.
  • • Maintain deep fluency in macOS environments, including troubleshooting at scale and managing device enrollment via Apple Business Manager and DEP.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to ensure IT systems align with organizational growth, security standards, and user experience goals.
  • • Stay current with evolving IT best practices in security, compliance, and employee experience, applying learnings to improve Alan’s operational stack.
  • • Maintain fluent communication in both French and English when supporting employees across international offices and teams.
  • • Balance reactive support responsibilities with proactive system improvements, ensuring day-to-day operations do not impede long-term infrastructure evolution.
  • • Demonstrate ownership over IT outcomes by identifying unmet needs, proposing solutions, and driving initiatives forward with minimal supervision as autonomy grows.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 1–3 years of IT operations experience or strong internship/student association background in a tech environment
  • • Device management proficiency with MDM tools (Kandji, Jamf, or Intune) and macOS ecosystem (Apple Business Manager, DEP enrollment)
  • • Fluency in Google Workspace, SSO, and SaaS administration
  • • Operational experience in oncall or production support, with ability to triage, communicate during incidents, and escalate appropriately
  • • Strong documentation mindset and ability to create clear, structured process guides
  • • Fluent in both French and English

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Fair rewards with generous equity packages for permanent contracts
  • • Flexible office policy: choose between HQ office, sponsored co-working, or full remote with home equipment sponsorship

  • • Comprehensive healthcare insurance: 100% coverage for you and your children, 90–100% for partners
  • • Flexible vacation policy and working hours
  • • Dedicated coaching from day one to support personal growth and impact
  • • Extended parental leave for all new parents (permanent contracts only)
