• • As an IT Support Specialist at Notable Inc., you will be the cornerstone of our technological infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and robust security for our cutting-edge healthcare AI platform. This pivotal role demands a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can manage, maintain, and enhance all IT systems, guaranteeing reliability, security, and optimal performance. You will be instrumental in supporting our mission to improve healthcare for humanity by empowering our staff with the tools and systems they need to succeed.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of critical IT functions. You will provide essential on-site technical support to our valued staff, expertly handling access management, streamlining the onboarding process for new team members, and ensuring a smooth offboarding experience for departing employees. This hands-on support is crucial for maintaining productivity and a positive employee experience.
• • A significant part of your role will involve the comprehensive management of our diverse IT systems. This includes a primary focus on SaaS applications, leveraging your expertise with Google Workspace to ensure its efficient operation. You will also be responsible for the management of our Apple laptop fleet, utilizing JAMF for device management, and our PC environment, supported by Intune. This multifaceted approach ensures that all endpoints are configured, secured, and maintained to the highest standards.
• • Beyond endpoint management, you will oversee our facility IT infrastructure. This includes managing Cisco Meraki for network connectivity, ensuring reliable power distribution to workstations, and expertly configuring keyboard, video, and mouse (KVM) setups. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of conference room A/V configurations, integrating seamlessly with Google Meet and Logitech hardware to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
• • A unique and exciting aspect of this role involves collaborating closely with our customer delivery teams. You will play a key part in integrating our innovative product with our customers' IT environments, which often involves complex tasks such as Single Sign-On (SSO) and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) configurations. This requires a deep understanding of network security and identity management protocols.
• • You will also manage routing and access control lists using Tailscale, a modern approach to secure networking, ensuring that our internal and external network access is both efficient and secure. This involves understanding network topology and implementing appropriate security measures.
• • A crucial element of this position is the development and implementation of comprehensive IT policies and procedures. You will be tasked with creating and enforcing guidelines that promote security, efficiency, and compliance across the organization. This includes staying abreast of best practices and adapting them to Notable's specific needs.
• • Continuous learning and adaptation are key. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, proactively identifying opportunities to improve our IT infrastructure and security posture. This forward-thinking approach is vital in the rapidly evolving tech landscape, especially within the healthcare sector.
• • This role requires a strong commitment to in-person collaboration. You will be expected to work onsite in our San Mateo office at least three days a week, with Monday, Tuesday, and Friday designated as required in-office days. Additional days may be necessary based on business needs, fostering a culture of teamwork and immediate problem-solving.
