📋 Description

• As a Java Product Support Engineer at Sonatype, you will provide expert technical support to customers using Sonatype’s Nexus Repository and related DevSecOps tools, ensuring smooth operation and rapid resolution of issues in Java-based software supply chain environments.
• Day to day, you will diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to Nexus Repository, Maven, Gradle, and other build tools; replicate customer environments; provide timely solutions via ticketing systems, email, and phone; collaborate with engineering teams to escalate bugs and contribute to product improvements; and document knowledge base articles and best practices.
• You will join a global, remote-first team of engineers and support specialists dedicated to empowering enterprises with secure, scalable software development practices, working alongside experts in DevSecOps, open-source security, and component lifecycle management.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Java ecosystems, build automation, and enterprise software infrastructure; gain hands-on experience with AI/ML-enhanced security tools; develop advanced troubleshooting and customer communication skills; and contribute to shaping the future of secure software supply chains while advancing your career in technical support and DevSecOps.
