📋 Description

• Own the complete accounting cycle for multiple overseas subsidiaries of a global ICT powerhouse. You will prepare and post all journal entries, compile detailed schedules, and drive month-end and year-end close processes that feed directly into Adventus’ consolidated group reporting. Your precision ensures that leadership in Singapore, London, and New York receives timely, error-free numbers they can trust for strategic decisions.
• Act as the first line of defense for data integrity by reviewing financial statements prepared by external accounting agents across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas. You will reconcile inter-company balances, validate foreign-exchange translations, and flag anomalies before they reach the CFO’s desk. Your analytical eye turns raw trial balances into a coherent story of business performance.
• Process high-volume vendor invoices, employee expense claims, and payment vouchers with speed and accuracy. You will maintain the vendor master file, enforce three-way matching, and execute weekly payment runs that keep mission-critical technology partners paid on time. Every keystroke you make supports uninterrupted delivery of cloud, cybersecurity, and digital-transformation projects to Fortune-500 clients.
• Champion internal controls and policy compliance across jurisdictions with differing statutory requirements. You will design and update desktop procedures, perform quarterly self-audits, and train overseas bookkeepers on Adventus’ finance manual. Your work minimizes control gaps and protects the company from fraud, penalties, and reputational risk.
• Partner with Big-4 external auditors during statutory audits, providing clean work-papers, clear explanations, and supporting documentation that shorten audit cycles and reduce fees. You will coordinate PBC lists, walk auditors through complex revenue-recognition areas, and implement post-audit recommendations that strengthen the control environment.
• Support regional tax and VAT filings by preparing reconciliations, compiling supporting schedules, and liaising with local tax agents. Your grasp of cross-border GST, WHT, and transfer-pricing rules ensures Adventus remains compliant in every market it serves.
• Drive continuous process improvement by leveraging advanced Excel and, ideally, SAP S/4HANA. You will build dynamic dashboards that slice profitability by product line, automate recurring journals with macros, and eliminate manual reconciliations through system integrations. Your innovations free the team for higher-value analysis and forecasting.
• Collaborate with a multicultural finance squad spread across Manila HQ, Singapore SSC, and remote hubs. You will join daily stand-ups, share best practices on Teams, and mentor junior interns during peak close periods. Your reliability and upbeat attitude create a positive, high-performing culture even when deadlines tighten.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or College degree in Accountancy
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on, full-set accounting experience
• Meticulous and analytical mindset with proven accuracy in high-volume data
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query); SAP experience a strong plus
