  • • As a key member of our dynamic Finance team, you will be instrumental in managing and overseeing the critical Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain comprehensive experience in core accounting operations within a fast-paced, global organization. You will play a vital part in our daily financial operations, contributing directly to our company's financial health and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will extend to crucial cash flow management activities, supporting weekly forecasting processes, performing essential intercompany reconciliations, and providing crucial support for both internal and external audit and tax processes. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, exceptionally organized, and possess a solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and best practices. This is an excellent entry-level position for an aspiring accountant looking to build a strong foundation in a forward-thinking company.
  • • Your core responsibilities will include:
  • • *Accounts Payable (AP):**
  • • Ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all vendor invoices and payments, maintaining strong vendor relationships and proactively resolving any invoice discrepancies.
  • • Maintaining meticulous AP records and files, ensuring all documentation is complete and accessible.
  • • Guaranteeing strict compliance with all relevant company policies and financial procedures.
  • • *Accounts Receivable (AR):**
  • • Diligently monitoring and following up on all outstanding customer receivables to ensure prompt payment.
  • • Accurately applying customer payments to outstanding invoices.
  • • Maintaining precise AR records and files, ensuring a clear and up-to-date ledger.
  • • Initiating and managing collections activities in accordance with company policy.
  • • Ensuring compliance with all relevant company policies and financial procedures for AR.
  • • *Cash Flow Management:**
  • • Actively monitoring daily and weekly cash balances to maintain optimal liquidity.
  • • Assisting in the preparation of accurate and timely cash flow forecasts.
  • • Identifying and reporting on any significant cash flow variances, providing clear explanations.
  • • Contributing to the development and recommendation of strategies to enhance overall cash flow efficiency.
  • • *Forecasting Support:**
  • • Actively participating in weekly financial forecasting activities, contributing valuable insights.
  • • Analyzing financial data to support and improve the accuracy of forecasts.
  • • Assisting in the preparation and distribution of comprehensive forecast reports.
  • • *Month-End Closing Procedures:**
  • • Performing essential bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of cash accounts.
  • • Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of necessary journal entries.
  • • Supporting the preparation and analysis of management reports following the month-end closing process.
  • • Undertaking other assigned accounting duties to support the finance team's objectives.
  • • *Intercompany Reconciliation:**
  • • Executing monthly intercompany account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of intercompany transactions.
  • • Investigating and resolving any intercompany discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
  • • Collaborating effectively with other departments and regional entities to resolve reconciliation issues.
  • • Preparing and maintaining thorough documentation for all intercompany reconciliations.
  • • *Management Reporting Assistance:**
  • • Assisting in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including detailed variance analysis.
  • • Supporting the preparation of financial statements and associated supporting schedules.
  • • Providing clear and insightful commentary and explanations for financial results to management.
  • • Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of management reporting processes.
  • • *Liaison with External Parties:**
  • • Assisting in responding to internal and external audit requests, providing necessary documentation and support.
  • • Preparing specific schedules and documentation required by auditors.
  • • Supporting statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance matters, including tax preparation and filing, and e-invoice submissions.
  • • *Other Responsibilities:**
  • • Assisting with ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.
  • • Ensuring consistent compliance with all established accounting policies and procedures.
  • • Maintaining an exceptionally high level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.
  • • Proactively contributing to process improvements within the finance department, identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • • Demonstrating a passion for and inquisitiveness about AI and new technologies, understanding their potential impact on financial operations.
