  • • Your primary responsibility will be to engage directly with chefs, restaurant owners, and kitchen managers, introducing them to the transformative power of the Saltz platform. You will be instrumental in showcasing how our marketplace simplifies sourcing, enhances ingredient discovery, and ultimately elevates their culinary creations. This is a hands-on role that requires you to be proactive, personable, and persistent in building strong, lasting relationships within the gastronomic community.
  • • You will be expected to manage a robust schedule of approximately 10-15 meetings per week. These meetings will be your opportunity to understand the unique challenges faced by each establishment and demonstrate how Saltz provides a tailored solution. Following up diligently after each interaction is crucial to ensure potential clients feel valued and supported throughout their journey with us, maximizing conversion rates and client satisfaction.
  • • Strategic planning will be a key component of your success. You will be responsible for planning your weekly schedule, optimizing your outreach efforts, and working collaboratively with guidance from your team to ensure you are consistently meeting and exceeding your sales targets. This role offers a significant degree of autonomy, allowing you to structure your days effectively while remaining focused on achieving ambitious goals.
  • • A core part of your role involves conducting live demonstrations of the Saltz application. You will visit restaurants and kitchens to showcase the intuitive design and powerful functionality of our platform, illustrating firsthand how Saltz streamlines the ordering process, ensures reliability, and provides access to an unparalleled selection of ingredients.
  • • To effectively track your progress and contribute to the team's collective knowledge, you will utilize our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other essential tools. Maintaining detailed notes on your interactions, client needs, and sales pipeline is vital for seamless team collaboration and informed decision-making. We provide comprehensive training on all necessary tools, ensuring you have the support needed to succeed.
  • • This role is ideal for individuals who possess a deep understanding of the fast-paced hospitality industry. Whether you have experience running a kitchen, managing a busy bar, or excelling in a guest-facing role like a concierge, your insights into the demands of gastronomy are highly valued. We are particularly enthusiastic about welcoming career changers who can bring a fresh perspective and transferable skills to our team.
  • • If you have prior sales internship experience or have held part-time customer-facing roles, these experiences will be a significant asset. Your ability to connect with people, understand their needs, and present solutions effectively will be key to your success in this position.
  • • You should be energized by the prospect of being out in the field, actively engaging with culinary professionals in their own environments. The ability to walk into kitchens, build rapport, and establish trust with chefs and managers through face-to-face interactions is fundamental to this role.
  • • Fluency in German at a minimum C1 level is essential, alongside a B1 level of English proficiency. This linguistic capability is crucial for effective communication with our diverse client base and internal teams.
  • • A mandatory requirement for this position is being based in Munich. This will facilitate your on-the-ground engagement with the local culinary scene and ensure efficient territory management.
  • • You must be comfortable taking the lead in conversations, demonstrating strong active listening skills, and adeptly solving problems to confidently close deals. Your communication style should be confident, empathetic, and results-oriented.
  • • As a bonus, fluency in additional languages beyond German and English will be considered a significant advantage, further broadening your reach and impact.
