  • • As a Junior Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of our growth, acting as the primary point of contact for restaurants and kitchens in the Cologne area. Your role is crucial in introducing chefs and owners to the Saltz platform, demonstrating how our innovative marketplace simplifies their sourcing processes and enhances their culinary creativity.
  • • Your days will be dynamic and engaging, involving significant time spent in the field. You will be responsible for proactively identifying and engaging potential clients, understanding their unique needs, and presenting Saltz as the ideal solution. This hands-on approach is key to building strong, lasting relationships within the gastronomic community.
  • • A core responsibility will be managing a robust pipeline of prospective clients, aiming to conduct approximately 10-15 meetings per week. This involves meticulous follow-up to ensure that every potential lead receives prompt attention and comprehensive support, maximizing conversion opportunities.
  • • You will play an integral part in the strategic planning of your weekly activities. While you will have the autonomy to structure your schedule, you will also receive guidance to ensure your efforts are aligned with team objectives and that you are consistently working towards, and exceeding, ambitious sales targets.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will involve conducting live demonstrations of the Saltz application. You will showcase, within the client's own kitchen environment, the intuitive design and powerful functionality of our platform, highlighting how it streamlines ordering, ensures reliability, and provides access to a wider range of premium ingredients.
  • • To ensure seamless collaboration and track progress effectively, you will diligently utilize our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other essential tools. Maintaining detailed and accurate records of your interactions, client feedback, and sales progress will be vital for the entire team to provide you with the best possible support and to inform our overall sales strategy.
  • • This position offers an exceptional opportunity for individuals looking to transition into a sales career, particularly those with a background in the fast-paced hospitality industry. Your understanding of kitchen operations, bar management, or even high-level concierge services will be highly valued, providing you with a unique perspective to connect with our target audience.
