  • • As a Junior Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of our growth, acting as a crucial link between Saltz and the vibrant restaurant community. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with chefs, restaurant owners, and culinary professionals, introducing them to the Saltz marketplace and demonstrating how our platform can significantly simplify and enhance their ingredient sourcing processes. This role is inherently field-based, requiring you to be proactive, personable, and persistent in building strong, lasting relationships.
  • • Your day-to-day activities will involve actively visiting restaurants and kitchens within your assigned territory. You will be responsible for scheduling and conducting approximately 10-15 meetings per week, ensuring thorough follow-up to nurture leads and convert prospects into loyal Saltz users. This will involve planning your weekly schedule strategically, with support and guidance available when needed, to ensure you are on track to meet and exceed your sales targets. A key part of your role will be to deliver compelling demonstrations of the Saltz application, showcasing its user-friendly interface and the tangible benefits it offers in streamlining the ordering process and ensuring reliability.
  • • To effectively manage your pipeline and track your progress, you will be trained on and utilize our CRM system, along with other essential sales tools. Maintaining detailed and accurate records of your interactions and progress is vital, as it allows the entire team to provide you with the best possible support and collaborate effectively towards shared goals. This role demands a proactive approach to learning and a commitment to leveraging technology to optimize your sales efforts.
  • • We are particularly interested in candidates who possess a deep understanding of the fast-paced gastronomy sector. Whether you have direct experience running a kitchen, managing a busy bar, or excelling in a high-touch hospitality role like a concierge, your insights into the industry's demands and challenges will be invaluable.
