  • • As a Key Account Manager for Solenis LLC in China (Remote), you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and market penetration for the company’s water and hygiene solutions, specifically within the pulp, paper, and chemical sectors. Your work directly contributes to Solenis’s mission of enhancing operational efficiency, product quality, and environmental sustainability for industrial customers across six continents, leveraging the company’s global footprint of 70 manufacturing facilities and over 16,500 professionals.
  • • You will be responsible for expanding sales business and maintaining customer relationships in your assigned region, with a sharp focus on the pulp and paper chemicals market. This includes leading market development, executing business plans, managing end-to-end customer lifecycles, and ensuring accurate sales forecasting through diligent data collection and validation—critical for aligning regional efforts with global corporate objectives.
  • • Day-to-day, you will develop and execute regional sales plans, lead business negotiations, secure contracts, and manage full-cycle customer engagement, including frequent travel to client sites across Shandong and surrounding areas. You will oversee product sales, market penetration, and brand visibility initiatives while ensuring performance targets are met through disciplined execution of sales strategies.
  • • A core part of your role involves gathering and analyzing market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and customer needs to identify new opportunities, develop new markets, and convert leads into lasting business relationships. You will also support project implementation by conducting demand research for pulp and paper chemical projects and coordinating cross-functional execution from initial contact to order fulfillment.
  • • You will regularly monitor and analyze market and competitor data to inform and optimize regional sales strategies, ensuring Solenis remains agile and responsive to evolving industry trends and customer demands in one of the world’s most competitive industrial sectors.
  • • The Solenis China team operates within a globally integrated, high-performance commercial organization that values technical expertise, customer-centricity, and entrepreneurial drive. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in R&D, supply chain, and technical service to deliver tailored solutions that meet complex customer challenges.
  • • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in specialty chemicals for industrial water and process applications, refine advanced consultative selling techniques, and gain strategic experience managing multi-million RMB accounts. You will develop leadership in market analysis, negotiation mastery, and long-term partnership building—skills that are transferable across global industries and highly valued in senior commercial leadership paths.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or related technical discipline)
  • • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within the pulp, paper, or specialty chemicals industry
  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for data analysis, reporting, and client presentations
  • • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain C-level customer relationships
  • • Valid C1 driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently for client visits and regional market engagement
  • • Strong business acumen, results-driven mindset, and ability to independently develop new business and achieve annual sales targets exceeding RMB 20 million
