- ⢠As a Key Account Manager for Infectious Diseases in the Berlin and North Germany region, you will drive market development and customer growth in Secondary Care to achieve sales targets for Abbott Rapid Diagnostics products, directly contributing to improved patient outcomes through advanced diagnostic solutions.
- ⢠Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing end-to-end sales processes, leading contract negotiations with C-level stakeholders in hospitals and healthcare networks, identifying strategic business opportunities, building and maintaining excellent customer relationships, and representing Abbott at trade shows and conferences while executing marketing campaigns for ARDx products.
- ⢠You will be part of Abbottās Infectious Diseases division within a global healthcare leader operating in Germany with over 4,000 employees across R&D, logistics, production, and sales, headquartered in Wiesbaden with key sites in Cologne, Hannover, Jena, Hamburg, and more, fostering a multinational, innovative environment focused on advancing health through science.
- ⢠In this role, you will develop strategic account management expertise, strengthen your ability to influence healthcare decision-makers, gain deep experience in medical diagnostics sales and marketing, and grow professionally within a company recognized as a āBest Big Company to Work Forā for diversity, working mothers, female leaders, and scientists.
šÆ Requirements
- ⢠Completed degree in natural sciences, medical training, or equivalent qualification with relevant experience in diagnostics
- ⢠Minimum three years of professional experience in medical technology or a comparable environment
- ⢠Strong communication and negotiation skills, including at management and C-level
- ⢠High travel readiness (approximately 70ā80%)
- ⢠Fluent German and very good English language skills
- ⢠Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
