📋 Description

  • Own the entire lifecycle of high-value sports partnerships as the single-threaded leader for marquee advertisers and top-tier agencies. You will quarterback every touchpoint—from first pitch to final report—ensuring that each client sees Jiostar as an indispensable growth engine rather than just another media vendor.
  • Build and deepen relationships across CMOs, media heads, sports marketing directors, and agency planners. Map decision-making hierarchies, identify new budget holders, and evangelize Jiostar’s broadcast, digital, and experiential capabilities through compelling storytelling and data-backed insights.
  • Translate complex business objectives into integrated media blueprints that span live broadcast spots, OTT takeovers, branded content series, athlete endorsements, and on-ground fan activations. Collaborate daily with Strategy, Creative, Pricing, and Operations to craft proposals that are as profitable for Jiostar as they are impactful for the client.
  • Deliver predictable, event-wise revenue growth by owning quarterly and annual targets. Build bottom-up account plans that map every rupee of potential spend, then execute disciplined outreach, negotiation, and upsell motions to exceed those plans.
  • Run rigorous post-campaign business reviews that showcase ROI, audience reach, brand-lift metrics, and social buzz. Package these insights into visually compelling decks that secure renewals, incremental budgets, and multi-year retainers.
  • Protect and grow revenue through flawless campaign execution. Track real-time delivery, troubleshoot under-delivery, and coordinate swift make-goods or bonus weight when needed. Serve as the client’s internal advocate to ensure every impression, click, and engagement is honored.
  • Act as the eyes and ears of the market. Monitor competitor rate cards, sponsorship valuations, emerging sports properties, and shifting fan behaviors. Translate these insights into proactive recommendations that keep Jiostar one step ahead and clients continuously innovating.
  • Champion a culture of experimentation by piloting new ad formats, data-targeting capabilities, and shoppable integrations. Share learnings across the sales pod to elevate team performance and establish Jiostar as the go-to thought leader in sports media.
  • Mentor junior account executives and interns, providing real-time coaching on objection handling, deck design, and financial modeling. Your success will be measured not only by your own quota attainment but also by the uplift in team productivity.
