📋 Description

• Lab Engineer responsible for building and owning the technical foundation of Swarmer AI Inc.'s physical lab, ensuring scalable, reliable test environments for autonomous drone systems.
• Day-to-day tasks include designing lab infrastructure from scratch, setting up and maintaining hardware/software test environments, implementing automation and orchestration solutions, supporting testing pipelines for firmware and mobile devices, identifying bottlenecks, collaborating with engineering and QA teams, and maintaining technical documentation.
• Swarmer AI Inc. develops battle-tested autonomous drone software for defense applications, became the first Ukrainian defense startup to go public on NASDAQ in March 2026, and operates at the intersection of engineering rigor and frontline reality to enable democratic nations to defend themselves.
• The role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of lab operations, drive continuous improvements in reliability and scalability, work on meaningful products that protect lives, and directly influence the impact of your work in a lean, ambitious team.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience designing, implementing, and scaling on-premises infrastructure, including physical test devices and supporting systems
• Strong command of Unix/Linux systems and networking fundamentals (LAN/Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, NAT) with ability to design robust network architectures
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices, automation infrastructure frameworks, and orchestration/configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible)
• Soldering skills and working understanding of PCB design and schematics; practical experience with Raspberry Pi/Arduino for building and testing solutions
• Strong analytical skills with forward-thinking approach to diagnosing and resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues
• Demonstrated ability to take full ownership of lab operations and results while collaborating effectively across teams
• Intermediate English (B1) or higher, both written and spoken
