• • Own the technical heartbeat of NFQ’s cloud practice. As Lead Cloud Engineer you will shape the way 800+ colleagues and dozens of global clients build, deploy and scale software. Your decisions today will still be powering IPO-level growth years from now.
• • Architect and govern a DevOps delivery quality framework that keeps every estimate on target, every pipeline green and every release virtually bug-free. The framework must be flexible enough to serve retail, travel, utilities, aviation, healthcare and logistics clients, yet reusable so we never reinvent the wheel.
• • Be the face of DevOps in the sales cycle. Join pre-sales calls, translate business pains into technical roadmaps and co-author proposals that win multi-million-euro deals. Polish and English stakeholders alike will rely on your clarity.
• • Lead a distributed DevOps chapter split between Kraków and Lithuania. Coach 10-15 engineers on cloud architecture, Terraform elegance, Kubernetes security and career progression. Run monthly 1-to-1s, quarterly growth plans and biannual salary reviews.
• • Design lightning-fast onboarding for new hires. Create runbooks, labs and sandbox environments so a newcomer can ship to production on day five, not week five.
• • Drive continuous effectiveness improvements. Introduce AI-driven cost optimisation, self-healing clusters and golden pipelines that cut deployment time by 50 %.
• • Ensure every project starts with a crystal-clear DevOps vision. Sit with Tech Leads, Product Owners and Clients to draft infrastructure blueprints that balance performance, cost and compliance.
• • Guard recruitment quality. Screen CVs, run live-coding sessions and design take-home challenges that surface real-world skills in Azure, AWS, Docker, K8s and GitLab CI.
• • Champion DevSecOps. Embed security gates, vulnerability scanning and policy-as-code so compliance becomes a by-product, not a bottleneck.
• • Share tribal knowledge. Run weekly guild sessions, publish internal tech blogs and speak at meet-ups to keep NFQ at the forefront of cloud innovation.
• • Travel to Vilnius or Kaunas 2-3 times a year for planning summits, team-building and cross-site knowledge exchange. All travel covered.
• • Measure what matters. Track DORA metrics, cost per transaction and carbon footprint; present insights to C-level and iterate relentlessly.
