- • The Lead Controls Technician at Oshkosh AeroTech is responsible for configuring, deploying, and supporting controls systems across airport environments, ensuring seamless integration between field assets and centralized platforms.
- • Day-to-day duties include setting up and managing servers, establishing communication between servers and field devices (including PLC-connected systems), mapping data points for accurate monitoring, supporting PLC programming, utilizing networking knowledge for IP-based communication, diagnosing and resolving system issues remotely, collaborating with field technicians, and documenting configurations and technical issues.
- • Oshkosh AeroTech, a division of Oshkosh Corporation, is a leading provider of aviation ground support products and airport services, serving commercial airlines, airports, air-freight carriers, ground handlers, and military customers with trusted brands like LEKTRO®, JetAire®, and Jetway®.
- • In this role, the individual will gain deep expertise in industrial controls systems, PLC integration, server configuration, and network communications, while developing end-to-end ownership of system deployment from initial setup through ongoing operation and support.
