• As the Lead Front-End Developer, you will be the primary owner of the front-end architecture, setting the technical direction and ensuring adherence to high implementation standards. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding the team through complex development challenges, fostering a culture of technical excellence, and driving the delivery of exceptional products.
• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including backend engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers. This collaborative environment will allow you to translate intricate business requirements and user needs into elegant, maintainable, and highly performant front-end solutions.
• This is a hands-on leadership position. You will be expected to remain actively involved in the development process, contributing through writing and reviewing code, making critical design decisions, and actively participating in the technical and professional growth of your team members.
• Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of front-end engineers, offering consistent technical guidance, conducting thorough code reviews, and providing constructive coaching to foster their development.
• You will be responsible for defining and owning front-end architectural decisions, ensuring that our applications are scalable, performant, and maintainable for the long term.
• You will design and build sophisticated user interfaces, leveraging your deep expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and/or React.
• Your role will involve working extensively with Node.js, TypeScript, and a suite of modern front-end frameworks and tooling, ensuring we are always at the cutting edge of technology.
• You will be instrumental in building and integrating front-end applications with robust APIs and event-driven backend services, creating seamless data flows and user interactions.
• Development will often involve utilizing Next.js for server-side rendering and API routes, and NestJS for building efficient and scalable backend services where applicable, demonstrating a full-stack understanding.
• You will establish and champion best practices across the team for component architecture, state management strategies, performance optimization techniques, and security protocols, ensuring a high-quality codebase.
• A significant part of your role will involve reviewing pull requests, rigorously enforcing coding standards, and continuously working to improve the overall code quality and developer experience.
• You will partner closely with product and UX teams to meticulously translate requirements into clean, efficient, and technically sound solutions, ensuring alignment between business goals and user experience.
• You will maintain a hands-on approach to development, balancing your leadership responsibilities with the need to stay current and contribute directly to the codebase.
• Proactively identify technical debt within the existing systems and drive strategic refactoring initiatives and performance improvements to ensure the long-term health and efficiency of our applications.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in front-end development, with a proven track record of delivering complex web applications.
• Strong, hands-on expertise with modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically Angular and/or React.
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+), including a deep understanding of language features and best practices.
• Demonstrated experience with Node.js, NestJS, and integrating front-end applications with backend services and APIs.
• Proven ability to build applications using Next.js, understanding its benefits for performance and SEO.
• Solid understanding of front-end architecture principles, performance optimization techniques, and strategies for building scalable applications.
• Previous experience in a team leadership role, including mentoring junior developers and conducting effective code reviews.
