- • Lead People Partner for Europe, serving as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and HR Country Lead across European operating countries, driving organisational effectiveness, talent development, and compliance.
- • Act as a trusted strategic partner to VP/SVP leaders, providing guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and performance management while coaching and mentoring the People Partnering team.
- • Partner with leaders to improve employee engagement through bi-annual surveys and action tracking, and develop talent retention and DEI initiatives.
- • Lead employee relations workstreams for new entity launches, own country-specific ER policies, monitor employment law across Europe, and build capability in the People team on ER topics.
- • The People Partnering team at Tide drives business success by acting as strategic advisors to leaders, using data-driven insights to shape policies and foster a high-performance, inclusive culture.
- • Tide is transforming small business banking with over 1.8 million members globally, offering business accounts and connected administrative solutions to help SMEs save time and money.
- • You will gain expertise in multi-jurisdictional employment law, lead high-impact HR initiatives, and develop leadership and coaching skills while contributing to Tide’s growth across Europe.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8–10+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong Employee Relations focus and broad generalist background.
- • Proven track record of direct partnership with senior leaders and experience leading HR for a client group, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- • Expert understanding of employment law and consultation frameworks in Germany, with strong awareness of frameworks in France and other European jurisdictions.
- • Program management experience in policy/process development and managing compliance workstreams for new market entry.
- • Exceptional judgement, critical thinking, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to influence without authority.
- • Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and excellent written communication for producing clear policy and training materials.
