📋 Description

• As a Lead Solutions Consultant at Perk, you will be at the forefront of driving sales excellence within our dynamic and fast-paced sales environment. You will leverage your deep expertise in spend management, accounting, and financial processes to guide prospective clients through complex sales cycles, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
• This pivotal role involves leading or providing critical support for our most significant customer engagements, ensuring that Perk's innovative platform is positioned to meet and exceed their unique business needs.
• Beyond individual deal contributions, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our solution consulting organization by defining best practices, mentoring and developing junior team members, and serving as a vital liaison between our sales and product teams.
• You will be instrumental in translating intricate business requirements into tangible, scalable solution designs for Perk’s comprehensive spend management platform, ensuring alignment with accounting best practices, robust financial controls, and practical operational realities.
• Your ability to confidently articulate the value proposition of our solutions, connecting product capabilities directly to the financial and operational challenges faced by businesses, will be key to your success.
• A significant aspect of this role involves acting as a subject matter expert on enterprise architecture, particularly concerning integrations with major ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, and Microsoft Dynamics BC/F&O.
• You will guide clients through the entire solution lifecycle, from initial design and integration strategy to successful adoption, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience.
• This position demands a practitioner's understanding of spend management, accounting principles, and financial workflows, coupled with a strong command of enterprise ERP landscapes and the ability to engage effectively with customer IT teams on integration strategies.
• You will be responsible for developing scalable solutions and providing expert guidance on solution architecture, with a particular focus on complex integrations with key ERP systems.
• Your role will involve bridging the critical gap between high-level business requirements and detailed technical implementation, ensuring that the solutions proposed are not only technically sound but also strategically aligned with client objectives.
• You will translate complex business and finance requirements into clear, actionable, and scalable solution designs for Perk’s cutting-edge spend management platform.
• A core responsibility is to ensure that all proposed solutions adhere to established accounting best practices, maintain strong financial controls, and are pragmatic and easily adoptable within the client's operational framework.
• You will take a proactive leadership role in the onboarding, coaching, and continuous professional development of our Solutions Consultants, fostering a culture of high performance and ensuring consistency in our approach.
• Through engaging whiteboarding sessions and knowledge sharing, you will elevate the technical acumen and sales effectiveness of the entire team, empowering them to tackle increasingly complex challenges.
• You will maintain a deep and current understanding of complex enterprise IT landscapes, encompassing both on-premise and cloud ERP deployments, security protocols, and modern API strategies.
• You will serve as the internal go-to expert for the most intricate ERP integrations with our spend management solution, particularly large-scale SAP or Oracle deployments across multiple subsidiaries.
• While not a developer, you will be comfortable leading architectural discussions with customer IT and integration teams, demonstrating a strong grasp of enterprise ERP environments, including cloud and on-premise systems, core finance modules, and common integration patterns.
• Your expertise will be crucial in navigating complex customer setups, including multi-entity ERP environments and their integrations, ensuring Perk's solution seamlessly fits within their existing technological ecosystem.
• This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a proven ability to not just execute deals but to actively define and refine solution consulting methodologies and improve team processes, contributing to the overall growth and efficiency of the department.
• You will possess the leadership presence to confidently present compelling value propositions to C-level executives within Global 2000 type organizations, articulating the strategic benefits of Perk's solutions.
• Your fluency in both English and German will be essential for effectively engaging with our diverse client base and supporting our regional sales teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 7-10 years of successful experience in Sales Engineering or Solution Consulting for complex B2B SaaS solutions, with at least 2 years in a lead or mentoring capacity. A background from a tier-1 System Integrator with proven solution architecture experience is also highly valued.
• Good understanding of enterprise accounting processes, global financial controls, and shared service center operations. A background in finance or accounting is desirable.
• Proven track record of not just executing deals, but defining solution consulting methodologies and improving team processes. Strategic mindset is essential.
• Good understanding of complex ERP landscapes (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Netsuite, Microsoft etc.) and integration architectures (APIs, middleware, SFTP). Ability to lead architectural discussions with enterprise IT leaders.
• Fluency in English and German is required. Any other languages are an asset.
