- • The Learning & Development Instructional Program Specialist supports the design, delivery, and coordination of high-quality learning experiences across Best Friends Animal Society, playing a key role in advancing employee growth and organizational effectiveness.
- • Day to day, the person will design and develop learning experiences using adult learning principles, facilitate virtual and instructor-led sessions, create eLearning content with tools like Articulate 360, coordinate program delivery, manage the LMS, and collaborate with subject matter experts to refine training based on feedback and data.
- • The Learning & Development team at Best Friends Animal Society is mission-driven, values kindness, compassion, diversity, and inclusion, and fosters a culture of trust, open communication, and continuous improvement aligned with the organization’s guiding principles.
- • In this role, the person can deepen expertise in instructional design, gain hands-on experience with LMS administration and eLearning authoring tools, build facilitation and program management skills, and contribute to scalable, accessible learning initiatives that support workforce development in a mission-focused nonprofit.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–4 years of experience supporting instructional design, learning facilitation, or training programs
- • Experience coordinating multi-session learning programs or recurring development initiatives
- • Working knowledge of learning management systems; Workday Learning experience preferred
- • Experience using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360
- • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a remote work environment
