- • The Learning Portfolio Manager (LPM) serves as the strategic architect and primary liaison between Red Hat’s global business units and the Product and Technical Learning (PTL) organization, ensuring learning offerings align with business goals and customer needs.
- • Day to day, the LPM acts as the central point of contact between PTL and stakeholder groups such as Engineering, Sales, Ecosystem, and Product Business Units; drives stakeholder awareness of the learning portfolio; facilitates workshops and planning sessions; manages the full lifecycle of learning assets (Plan-Build-Run-Retire); evaluates portfolio alignment with industry trends and feedback; prioritizes development efforts based on business impact and resource availability; and guides the transition from idea to development by aligning SMEs and content creators on learning objectives and target audience.
- • The role sits within Red Hat’s Product and Technical Learning organization, supporting a global, open-source-driven enterprise that values flexibility, innovation, and inclusion across 40+ countries, with remote work options available.
- • In this role, the individual will develop strategic thinking by synthesizing conflicting stakeholder inputs into unified learning strategies; strengthen relationship management and influencing skills without authority; gain deep exposure to Red Hat’s product portfolio and open-source ecosystem; and advance expertise in learning lifecycle management, data-driven prioritization, and enablement program advocacy.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development (L&D), Product Management, or Technical Program Management
- • Strong strategic thinking ability to synthesize diverse stakeholder requirements into a unified strategy aligned with business goals
- • Proven relationship management skills to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments and influence without authority
- • Ability to analyze consumption and effectiveness metrics to tie learning performance to business outcomes
- • Familiarity with Red Hat’s products or the open-source software landscape is a significant plus
