  • • The Legal and Compliance Operations Manager serves as the operational backbone of Pearl Health's Legal and Compliance functions, managing end-to-end workflows for legal requests, contract administration, and compliance tracking while supporting cross-functional teams across healthcare technology and value-based care initiatives.
  • • This role is critical to ensuring Pearl Health’s legal and compliance operations run efficiently, enabling the company to scale its mission of empowering primary care providers in the shift to value-based care while maintaining regulatory adherence and reducing risk.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and maintaining contract lifecycle management (CLM) system AI Playbooks, including active training of AI models to learn Pearl's contracting approach and processes; performing first-pass contract redlines based on counterparty feedback and converting that feedback into proposed redlines; replicating contract edits across affiliate contracts; negotiating certain contract terms within established guardrails (e.g., NDAs); and maintaining databases of key contractual terms.
  • • The role involves serving as intake manager and matter tracker for legal and compliance matters, creating and maintaining the Legal and Compliance Dashboard, tracking and managing vendor contract workflows, setting up and maintaining CLM workflows for various contract types, organizing and maintaining files, and collaborating with the technical team to deploy internal legal/compliance AI agents.
  • • Compliance program support duties include coordinating internal compliance training programs and maintaining the training repository, tracking external compliance training completion for ACO participants, managing overall compliance training workflows and documentation, managing PHI intake processes and coordinating dissemination with the InfoSec team, conducting BAA (Business Associate Agreement) and data rights assessments, tracking and assisting with compliance-related audit responses, and supporting ACO governing body meetings.
  • • Corporate and administrative functions include supporting the creation of new legal entities and managing state registrations, and managing the Carta platform for equity administration.
  • • Cross-functional support involves partnering with the Growth team on contract execution during sales seasons, coordinating with Finance on entity management and corporate governance, collaborating with Tech Ops on vendor contract workflows, and working with InfoSec on data privacy and security compliance.
  • • The role offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in healthcare compliance, particularly HIPAA/PHI handling and ACO operations, while gaining hands-on experience with AI-driven contract automation and CLM systems like Ironclad in a fast-growing, mission-driven healthcare technology company.
  • • Success in this position enables the individual to significantly impact Pearl Health’s ability to scale compliantly, support thousands of providers across 44 states, and contribute to lowering costs and improving health outcomes in Medicare populations through efficient legal and compliance operations.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 4 years of experience in legal operations, contract administration, or compliance coordination
  • • Strong proficiency with contract management systems and AI-enabled workflows, particularly in Ironclad
  • • Bachelor's degree required

  • • Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
