- • Organize and manage litigation files, including gathering, organizing, and indexing documents and information related to disputes and litigation from inception through discovery and trial.
- • Maintain calendars and docketing systems to ensure compliance with court deadlines and scheduling requirements for litigation matters.
- • Attend meetings, hearings, and trials as required to support attorneys and document proceedings.
- • Perform electronic legal research and assist attorneys in preparing cases for trial, including drafting deposition summaries, case summaries, and other litigation-related reports.
- • Manage and administer a high volume of contracts across multiple types, tracking key terms such as renewal dates, termination dates, and financial obligations.
- • Maintain a centralized contract database to monitor critical dates and obligations, ensuring timely alerts and compliance.
- • Review, summarize, and evaluate contracts for legal risk and completeness, preparing them for attorney review and approval.
- • Draft routine contracts and amendments under the direct supervision of attorneys, ensuring alignment with institutional policies and legal standards.
- • Organize and maintain physical and digital contract files for easy retrieval and audit readiness.
- • Provide general paralegal support to all attorneys in the Office of General Counsel, including assistance with transactions, closings, regulatory analysis, and legal research.
- • Perform other duties as assigned to support the operational needs of the Office of General Counsel.
🎯 Requirements
- • Associate degree or combination of education and experience that substitutes for minimum education
- • Five years of experience as a corporate or litigation paralegal
