📋 Description
- • Design, build, and deploy AI agents and automation tools to streamline core legal workflows including contract review, clause analysis, regulatory monitoring, and internal knowledge management.
- • Serve as the primary legal advisor on the selection, procurement, and integration of AI-powered tools across the legal function, defining policies, standards, and guardrails for responsible agentic use.
- • Lead the strategic transformation of the legal department’s operations by identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and improve the quality of legal services through technology and process innovation.
- • Partner with Finance, Revenue Operations, Procurement, and cross-functional teams to optimize end-to-end legal operations including matter management, vendor oversight, budgeting, CLM systems, and performance dashboards.
- • Develop and deliver training programs for legal, compliance, and business teams on AI-related legal and regulatory topics to foster a culture of responsible AI adoption across the organization.
- • Advise on the development, procurement, and deployment of AI and machine learning systems with a focus on regulatory compliance, data protection, and intellectual property.
- • Draft and negotiate complex technology agreements involving AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
- • Utilize AI tools including Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot to enhance legal productivity and accuracy.
- • Implement legal automation and workflow solutions using tools such as Dust and N8N to improve operational efficiency.
- • Maintain fluency in both French and English (C2 level) to provide legal counsel across international teams and jurisdictions.
- • Collaborate with the Global Legal team led by the General Counsel & Legal Director from the Paris office, with one remote working day per week.
- • Stay ahead of rapidly evolving legal and regulatory landscapes in AI, privacy, and emerging technologies to provide proactive guidance.
- • Translate complex legal and technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non-legal stakeholders including technologists and business leaders.
- • Build trust and strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to align legal strategy with business objectives.
- • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing in line with Mirakl’s values of working hard together and succeeding through expertise.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–7 years of legal experience with significant focus on technology transactions, privacy, data protection, regulatory compliance, or intellectual property
- • Demonstrated knowledge of the AI regulatory landscape and experience drafting and negotiating complex technology agreements
- • Prior in-house experience at a technology company or organization undergoing significant digital transformation
- • Hands-on experience advising on the development, procurement, or deployment of AI or machine learning systems, and familiarity with legal ops tools and processes
- • Fluent French and fluent English (C2 level)
- • Strong communicator with ability to make complex legal and technical concepts clear to any audience
