- • As a Legal Engineer at Harvey AI Inc., you will serve as a critical bridge between legal professionals and cutting-edge AI technology, helping transform how law firms and in-house legal teams operate by translating complex legal workflows into actionable product insights that drive adoption and value.
- • You will work directly with lawyers at current and prospective customers to uncover workflow pain points, recommend tailored solutions, and demonstrate how Harvey’s AI platform integrates into real legal work, ensuring the technology addresses authentic challenges faced by legal practitioners.
- • You will serve as the voice of the customer, translating frontline feedback and legal workflow observations into concrete, lawyer-ready product direction that shapes Harvey’s roadmap and ensures the product evolves in ways that build trust and drive adoption among legal users.
- • You will partner closely with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to co-create product demonstrations, refine use cases, and introduce new capabilities in a credible, tailored manner that reflects how legal teams actually work—including how AI is reshaping those workflows.
- • You will build and continuously refine product demonstrations, workflows, and use cases that mirror real legal practice, continuously raising the bar for how Harvey is deployed and ensuring it delivers measurable improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and confidence for legal professionals.
- • You will help establish Harvey’s presence in Dallas as part of the company’s next phase of growth, contributing to the founding of a new office and shaping the regional go-to-market strategy through deep customer engagement and strategic collaboration.
- • You will operate with executive presence and strong relationship-building skills, engaging partners, senior associates, in-house counsel, and legal leadership with clarity and precision to position Harvey as a trusted advisor in the legal technology space.
- • You will thrive in ambiguity, move at speed, and iterate quickly with cross-functional teams to ship solutions that work—combining legal expertise with a bias toward action and creativity to solve problems that have not yet been cracked in the legal tech landscape.
🎯 Requirements
- • JD or equivalent legal qualification
- • At least 3 years of experience practicing law at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house with strong exposure to complex legal workflows and client expectations
- • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and make confident, well-reasoned recommendations
- • Ability to operate seamlessly across legal, product, and sales contexts—translating between stakeholders with clarity and precision
- • Executive presence and relationship-building skills, with comfort engaging partners, senior associates, in-house counsel, and legal leadership
- • Sales, customer-facing, or law firm business development experience is a plus, particularly where you’ve helped shape solutions rather than just present them
