đź“‹ Description
- • As a Legal Engineer at Harvey AI Inc., you will serve as a trusted advisor bridging deep legal expertise with cutting-edge AI technology, helping law firms and in-house legal teams understand how Harvey’s generative AI platform transforms their daily workflows and strategic outcomes. This role is pivotal in securing the 'legal win' during the sales process by translating complex legal challenges into tangible AI-driven solutions, directly contributing to Harvey’s mission of redefining professional services through agentic AI at a time of rapid global scaling.
- • Engage with English- and Swedish-speaking lawyers at existing and prospective customers to conduct in-depth discovery of their workflow challenges, strategic objectives, and firm-specific contexts, then demonstrate how Harvey’s AI solutions can address pain points in areas such as contract analysis, due diligence, legal research, and corporate governance.
- • Establish credibility as a legal expert by researching public and private databases, drafting and analyzing contractual provisions, reviewing briefs and filings, and applying your legal mindset to validate how Harvey’s features align with real-world legal workflows across practice areas like corporate law, litigation, and private equity.
- • Lead tailored product demonstrations for law firm practice groups and in-house legal teams, using your legal background to ask insightful questions, uncover use cases, and showcase Harvey’s capabilities in a way that resonates with the specific needs of attorneys and legal decision-makers.
- • Partner with the marketing team to develop localized, practice-area-specific content — including thought leadership pieces, use case guides, and demo scripts — that speaks directly to the concerns and opportunities faced by Swedish and international legal professionals.
- • Act as the 'Voice of the Customer' by synthesizing feedback from legal users and translating it into actionable insights for the sales and product teams, ensuring Harvey’s roadmap remains grounded in the real needs of legal professionals.
- • Tailor the introduction of new Harvey solutions to specific customer needs, ensuring relevance and adoption by aligning product capabilities with the unique demands of different legal sectors and client types.
- • Contribute to building Harvey’s market perception as a credible, substantive, and trustworthy partner in the legal AI space by demonstrating deep domain knowledge and a commitment to solving real legal problems, not just selling technology.
- • Conduct competitive and customer research to inform go-to-market strategies, helping Harvey stay ahead in a rapidly evolving legal tech landscape.
- • Work closely with Account Executives as a strategic partner in the sales cycle, providing the legal credibility and expertise needed to advance deals from initial engagement to close, particularly in complex enterprise and law firm environments.
- • Help scale Harvey’s presence in Sweden as a founding member of the local team, shaping go-to-market strategy, building early customer relationships, and establishing Harvey as a leader in the Nordic legal AI market.
🎯 Requirements
- • JD or equivalent legal qualification from a recognized institution.
- • Fluency in both Swedish and English, enabling effective communication with clients and internal teams across regions.
- • Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law at a top-tier law firm, with preference for corporate or litigation focus.
- • Proven ability to engage executives and build credibility with senior legal decision-makers, including partners and in-house counsel.
- • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, capable of delivering compelling demos and discussions both impromptu (e.g., whiteboard) and via structured presentations.
- • Strong understanding of legal processes, challenges, and workflows faced by law firms and in-house legal teams.
- • Demonstrated curiosity about AI’s potential to transform the legal industry and a willingness to learn and apply new technologies in a legal context.
- • Sales or customer-facing experience is a plus, including law firm business development, client relationship management, or secondment experience.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Be part of building something special as a founding member of Harvey’s Swedish team, with the opportunity to shape the company’s go-to-market strategy and culture in a key European market.
- • Opportunities to work on cross-functional go-to-market initiatives, collaborating with sales, marketing, and product teams to scale revenue growth and refine market positioning.
- • Exposure to cutting-edge agentic AI technology and its application in transforming legal workflows, offering unique professional growth at the intersection of law and technology.
- • Work in a high-impact, mission-driven environment with strong product-market fit, backed by world-class investors and serving 1000+ customers across 60+ countries.
- • Join a sharp, motivated, and intensely focused team that values ownership, urgency, and excellence in solving real customer problems.
- • Clear path for personal, professional, and financial growth as Harvey scales rapidly and defines a new category in professional services AI.
