Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Be the first smile a family sees on their toughest day. As a Licensed Child and Adolescent Therapist at Fort Health, you are the human gateway to life-changing mental-health care for kids and teens across New Jersey. Every session you conduct chips away at the staggering statistic that 50% of U.S. children still go without the support they need.
- • Own a curated panel of patients that we continuously fill for you—no marketing, no networking, no empty calendars. You arrive, you connect, you heal; we handle the rest.
- • Deliver evidence-based therapy (CBT, DBT, ACT, and more) through our secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. Sessions are scheduled during high-demand after-school and weekend windows (weekdays 3:30 pm–8:30 pm and select weekend hours), ensuring you reach families when they need you most.
- • Build deep, trusting relationships with children, adolescents, and their caregivers. Your clinical warmth and cultural humility turn anxious first calls into confident, ongoing partnerships that last months and even years.
- • Collaborate in real time with a multidisciplinary dream-team: dedicated care managers who handle between-session check-ins, in-house psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners for medication consults, and peer clinicians for case consultation. You are never practicing in isolation.
- • Leverage our therapist-friendly EMR and custom-built tech stack to cut documentation time in half. Smart templates, auto-populated treatment plans, and one-click outcome measures let you spend up to 90% of your logged-in time face-to-face with patients instead of staring at screens.
- • Participate in weekly group supervision and monthly grand-rounds style trainings led by senior clinicians from the Child Mind Institute. Earn CE credits, refine specialized skills (e.g., trauma-focused CBT, gender-affirming care, OCD exposure protocols), and track your own clinical outcomes to watch your impact grow.
- • Contribute to an inclusive, growth-minded community that values curiosity over perfection. Share resources, co-facilitate webinars for parents, and pilot new digital tools that will shape the future of pediatric mental health.
- • Enjoy the freedom of a true 1099 contractor lifestyle: set your minimum weekly commitment (starting at just five clinical hours), scale up or down as life evolves, and work from any quiet, private space in the United States with reliable internet.
- • Reclaim your evenings and weekends from administrative purgatory. We credential you with major payers, submit claims, chase authorizations, and troubleshoot insurance headaches so you can focus on what you trained for—changing young lives.
