- • As a Danish Linguist at Lilt Production, you will play a vital role in breaking down language barriers by delivering high-quality, culturally nuanced translations that enable global enterprises, governments, and AI developers to communicate effectively across markets—directly supporting Lilt’s mission to make the world’s information accessible to everyone, regardless of language.
- • Your expertise will contribute to cutting-edge AI-powered language solutions, combining human linguistic precision with machine learning innovation to improve translation accuracy and scalability in real-world applications.
- • You will translate and localize content across diverse domains including Life Sciences, IT, Marketing, Legal, Finance, subtitling, and transcreation, ensuring linguistic excellence and cultural appropriateness for Danish-speaking audiences.
- • You will manage your own workload independently, selecting projects that align with your expertise and interests, while maintaining consistent quality, tone, and terminology in alignment with client guidelines and Lilt’s quality standards.
- • You will collaborate asynchronously with project managers and AI systems, leveraging Lilt’s adaptive translation platform to provide feedback that helps train and improve machine learning models over time.
- • You will ensure all translations meet rigorous quality benchmarks through self-review, adherence to style guides, and attention to context, audience, and industry-specific terminology.
- • You will participate in a global, remote-first community of language professionals, contributing to knowledge sharing and best practices while building your professional network in a supportive, inclusive environment.
- • You will continuously develop your skills in AI-assisted translation workflows, gaining experience with cutting-edge language technology that is shaping the future of localization and multilingual AI development.

🎯 Requirements
- • Native-level proficiency in Danish, with excellent command of grammar, syntax, idioms, and cultural nuances.
- • Minimum of 2 years of professional translation experience, or a degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field.
- • Proven expertise in translation and localization, with demonstrated ability to handle complex texts across multiple domains.
- • Familiarity with CAT tools or translation management systems is a plus, though not required.
- • Strong attention to detail, consistency, and ability to follow style guides and client-specific instructions.
- • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote, self-directed environment.
