  • • As an LMS Administrator at Cloudera, you will be the pivotal force behind our Learning Management System, ensuring it operates seamlessly to empower our employees through effective training and development.
  • • You will take ownership of the entire LMS lifecycle, from initial configuration and ongoing maintenance to user provisioning, permission management, and system updates, ensuring a robust and scalable platform.
  • • Your expertise will be crucial in managing the deployment of diverse learning content, meticulously uploading, testing, and validating various formats to guarantee flawless playback across all browsers and devices.
  • • You will be the first line of defense for users experiencing technical difficulties, providing prompt and effective Tier 1 helpdesk support for issues such as access problems, course completion errors, and general platform navigation.
  • • A key aspect of your role will involve empowering content owners and stakeholders by providing comprehensive training on LMS capabilities, best practices, and operational processes, fostering self-sufficiency and efficient content management.
  • • You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining essential user resources, including engaging demos, clear FAQs, and detailed training materials, to enhance the overall user experience and adoption of the LMS.
  • • You will be responsible for generating and automating regular reports that track critical metrics such as training completion rates, learner status, and overall engagement, providing valuable insights to leadership.
  • • By analyzing learner performance data and program effectiveness, you will deliver actionable insights to enablement leaders, guiding strategic decisions for future learning initiatives.
  • • You will collaborate closely with the IT department to ensure seamless integration and data synchronization between the LMS and other vital systems, including the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and various third-party tools.
  • • Proactive system governance will be a core responsibility, involving regular audits to maintain data integrity, identify and rectify inconsistencies, and ensure the removal of outdated or irrelevant content.
  • • You will be expected to stay ahead of the curve by continuously researching and staying current with the latest LMS trends, emerging features, and evolving industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  • • A significant part of this role involves leveraging your technical acumen in API Management and Integration, specifically utilizing RESTful APIs to automate complex LMS workflows, synchronize data across disparate platforms, and build custom integrations with essential third-party tools like Salesforce, Slack, or BI platforms.
  • • You will design and implement sophisticated workflow automation processes to streamline user lifecycle management, enhance content tagging efficiency, and configure triggered notifications, thereby minimizing manual administrative overhead.
  • • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell) will be essential for performing bulk data transformations, conducting in-depth system audits, and generating advanced, customized reports.
  • • This role requires a deep understanding of learning technology standards such as SCORM and xAPI, ensuring compatibility and effective tracking of learning activities.
  • • You will apply strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to learning operations.
  • • Excellent organizational and documentation skills are paramount for maintaining system records, process documentation, and user guides.
  • • The ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences in a friendly, approachable, and helpful manner is crucial for effective communication and user support.
  • • Experience with the reporting tools inherent to LMS platforms and a solid foundation in data analysis will be vital for extracting meaningful insights from learning data.
