- • The Loan Support Specialist is a central point of contact for Loan Officers and Loan Processors, providing essential guidance and technical assistance to ensure smooth lending operations across the company.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to employee inquiries via ticketing system, phone, email, and in-person; troubleshooting loan origination systems like Encompass360; assisting with loan eligibility and lending guidelines; performing administrative tasks in loan systems; and tracking support activities.
- • CrossCountry Mortgage is the nation’s top distributed retail mortgage lender with over 9,000 employees and 700+ branches, recognized for rapid growth and an award-winning culture that emphasizes transparency, entrepreneurial spirit, and employee support.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in mortgage systems and compliance, develop training resources, collaborate with cross-functional teams (Underwriting, Closing, IT, Compliance), and grow into a trusted internal advisor on lending processes and technology.
🎯 Requirements
- • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience; bachelor’s degree preferred
- • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Loan Processor or Loan Officer in the mortgage industry
- • Minimum 3 years’ experience using Encompass360 Banker’s Edition in a production role
- • Minimum 2 years’ experience providing direct support to employees or customers
- • Experience utilizing a ticketing system to handle loan support questions
- • Knowledge of mortgage loan origination activities, loan programs, and regulatory requirements
