- • NVIDIA's Networking Silicon Engineering group is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Local Product Engineer to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role will be based at our factory in Bac Ninh, Vietnam, and will serve as a critical focal point for all production testing issues, ensuring the seamless operation and continuous improvement of our world-leading GPU, DPU, and SOC manufacturing processes.
- • As a Local Product Engineer, you will be instrumental in monitoring the production status at our Contract Manufacturers (CMs), providing essential onsite tier 1 support for test validation, test infrastructures, test setups, and station troubleshooting. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and resolving any technical challenges that arise during the manufacturing process, ensuring that our high-performance products meet NVIDIA's stringent quality standards.
- • A key responsibility will be the introduction and training of new tests to the CM engineering team. This involves not only imparting technical knowledge but also fostering a collaborative environment where best practices are shared and implemented effectively. You will be responsible for ensuring that the CM team is fully equipped to execute new testing protocols accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall quality and reliability of our silicon products.
- • You will conduct in-depth test debugging and failure analysis whenever needed. This requires a keen analytical mind and a systematic approach to problem-solving. By meticulously investigating test failures, you will identify root causes and develop effective solutions, thereby minimizing production downtime and improving yield rates. Your ability to perform thorough failure analysis will directly impact the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our manufacturing operations.
- • Furthermore, you will actively monitor the New Product Introduction (NPI) project yields, providing detailed analysis of the top failures. This proactive approach allows us to identify potential issues early in the product lifecycle and implement corrective actions before they escalate. Your insights will be invaluable in guiding NPI teams towards successful product launches and ensuring that new products meet performance and quality benchmarks from the outset.
- • This role demands a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and manufacturing processes. You will be working with cutting-edge technology, and your ability to adapt to new challenges and learn quickly will be essential. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in hardware diagnostics and repair, with a proven track record of success in similar factory-based engineering roles.
- • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, test, and manufacturing, to ensure alignment and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your communication skills will be vital in conveying technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, both within NVIDIA and at our manufacturing partners.
- • By ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our production testing, you will play a direct role in delivering NVIDIA's industry-leading GPUs, DPUs, and SOCs to a global market. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a company at the forefront of technological innovation, working on products that power the future of computing, gaming, and artificial intelligence.
- • The successful candidate will be a self-starter, capable of working independently and taking ownership of their responsibilities. They will be adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and will be committed to achieving exceptional results. Your contributions will be critical in maintaining NVIDIA's reputation for quality and performance in the highly competitive semiconductor industry.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with advanced semiconductor manufacturing processes and to contribute to the development of next-generation technologies. You will be part of a team that is passionate about innovation and dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
- • Ultimately, the Local Product Engineer will be the eyes and ears on the ground, ensuring that our products are manufactured to the highest standards and that any production-related issues are resolved swiftly and effectively. Your dedication and expertise will be key to our ongoing success in delivering unparalleled performance and efficiency in the silicon market.
