- • The Logistics Analyst II role at PingWind Inc. supports the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Fourth-Party Logistics (4PL) Program by analyzing, developing, and optimizing supply chain operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing end-to-end logistics operations, monitoring KPIs such as transportation cost and delivery performance, developing logistics strategies, conducting root cause analyses for delays or discrepancies, overseeing inbound/outbound transportation and warehousing, managing logistics documentation, coordinating with carriers and 3PL providers, utilizing ERP systems like SAP or Oracle, developing performance reports, supporting system upgrades, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including procurement, finance, production, and IT.
- • PingWind is a VA CVE certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and SBA HUBZone Certified company with offices in Washington DC and Northern Virginia, focused on delivering outstanding services to the federal government in areas including cyber security, IT infrastructure, supply chain management, and system design.
- • In this role, the individual can develop expertise in federal logistics programs, gain experience with ERP and logistics management systems, enhance analytical and problem-solving skills in supply chain optimization, and potentially mentor junior analysts while contributing to mission-critical government logistics operations.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2-5 years’ experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
- • High School/GED education
- • Public Trust clearance required
- • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (desired)
- • Military experience preferred (desired)
- • Experience with ERP and logistics management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) (implied from duties)
