- ⢠The Long Term Care Account Specialist role at Neurocrine Biosciences is responsible for driving product adoption and growth in a defined geographic territory by building and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, long-term care facilities, and payers. This role is critical to promoting Neurocrineâs neuroscience-focused treatments for conditions such as tardive dyskinesia, Huntingtonâs disease chorea, and other neuropsychiatric disorders, directly supporting the companyâs mission to relieve suffering for patients with high unmet needs.
- ⢠Day-to-day responsibilities include executing territory sales strategies through in-person and virtual engagements, educating physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and case managers on product benefits, managing promotional resources and budgets, identifying market opportunities and barriers, and collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams such as Managed Care, Marketing, Patient Access, and Medical Science Liaisons to ensure aligned messaging and support.

- ⢠In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in specialty pharmaceutical sales within long-term care and neuropsychiatry, strengthen their ability to navigate complex healthcare systems, enhance proficiency with CRM and business intelligence tools (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva), and grow as a trusted partner in the healthcare community while contributing to meaningful patient outcomes through ethical, science-driven promotion.
đŻ Requirements
- ⢠BS/BA degree in science or related field AND minimum of 4 years of commercial pharma/biotech experience, including 3+ years in specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales
- ⢠Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives and launch success in complex healthcare environments
- ⢠Proficiency with sales platforms and business intelligence tools such as Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, or Veeva
- ⢠Valid driverâs license and clean driving record, with willingness to reside within the assigned territory and maintain frequent field presence
