- • Manage an active pipeline of delinquent manufactured home loan accounts requiring loss mitigation evaluation and resolution
- • Review borrower financial documentation including tax returns, pay stubs, and bank statements to determine eligibility for workout solutions
- • Evaluate borrower hardship and make timely, well-supported decisions on retention options (repayment plans, deferrals, modifications) or liquidation paths (e.g., voluntary surrender)
- • Drive collection of complete and accurate documentation to minimize delays and reduce rework in servicing systems
- • Clearly communicate available loan resolution options to borrowers through sensitive financial conversations
- • Maintain consistent follow-up to prevent file stagnation and ensure timely progression through the loss mitigation process
- • Ensure all account handling complies with applicable federal and state regulations and internal company policies
- • Accurately document all borrower interactions, decisions, and actions within the company’s servicing platforms
- • Collaborate with Collections, Underwriting, Legal, and Default teams to expedite resolution of delinquent accounts
- • Meet or exceed defined KPIs including cycle time, conversion rates, quality standards, and borrower experience metrics
- • Prioritize and manage multiple accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- • Apply sound judgment and attention to detail when assessing financial capacity and determining appropriate workout outcomes
- • Maintain low aging and minimal pipeline backlog by proactively advancing files from intake to resolution
- • Deliver positive borrower experiences even in challenging financial situations through empathy and clear communication
- • Work remotely in a fully distributed, production-focused team with accountability for individual performance and outcomes
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience in loss mitigation, mortgage servicing, underwriting, or related field
- • Strong working knowledge of loss mitigation solutions and default processes
- • Experience reviewing borrower financial documents (tax returns, pay stubs, bank statements)
- • Ability to manage a pipeline and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment
- • Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive financial conversations
- • Detail-oriented with sound judgment and decision-making ability
