- • As a Majors Sales Director at dbt Labs, you will drive revenue growth by building and managing the company’s largest and most strategic customer base in the Bay Area, playing a critical role in expanding dbt Cloud’s enterprise footprint.
- • You will own the full sales cycle from lead generation to post-sale utilization, organize proof-of-concept implementations for dbt Cloud Enterprise, collaborate with product teams to shape the commercial roadmap, and contribute to refining sales processes through cross-functional initiatives.
- • You’ll join a high-impact Revenue Team at dbt Labs, the pioneer of analytics engineering, trusted by over 90,000 teams weekly and more than 5,400 enterprise customers including AstraZeneca, Nasdaq, and JetBlue, backed by top-tier investors like Andreessen Horowitz and Sequoia Capital.
- • In this role, you’ll deepen your expertise in SQL, dbt, and commercial data operations while becoming an active contributor to the dbt open source community, positioning yourself at the forefront of the modern data stack and AI-driven data engineering.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of closing experience in technology sales with a proven track record of exceeding annual targets
- • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into consultative sales conversations with stakeholders ranging from developers to CTOs
- • Experience with SQL or a strong willingness to learn, coupled with diligence and organizational skills to manage long, complex sales cycles involving multiple teams
