  • • As a Manager, Business Development at AgileBits Inc. (1Password), you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our sales pipeline and cultivating the next generation of sales leaders. This is a pivotal hybrid role, based in Austin, Texas, reporting directly to the Director of Business Development, and offers a unique opportunity to blend strategic leadership with hands-on team development.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) who are tasked with generating high-quality sales opportunities. This involves overseeing both inbound and outbound lead generation efforts, ensuring a balanced and strategic approach that drives scalable and sustainable growth for the company.
  • • You will be a key player in fostering a high-performance culture within your team, focusing on achieving ambitious targets, driving consistent pipeline generation, and delivering measurable business outcomes. This leadership role requires a strong blend of coaching, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • • Empowering your team is at the core of this position. You will coach, develop, and inspire your BDRs to not only meet but exceed their targets. This includes providing ongoing training, constructive feedback, and performance management focused on enhancing their prospecting skills, objection handling, and product knowledge.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will be to build and maintain a robust talent pipeline. You will identify high-potential BDRs and nurture their development, preparing them for future advancement into closing roles and other positions within the sales organization, thereby contributing to the long-term success and sustainability of our sales force.
  • • You will be expected to continuously assess and optimize the existing processes for lead generation, qualification, and the seamless handoff of qualified leads to the sales team. The goal is to enhance efficiency, improve conversion rates, and ensure a smooth customer journey from initial contact to opportunity.
  • • Collaboration is key. You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Enablement teams to align strategies, share insights, and maximize the collective impact of all go-to-market activities. This cross-functional synergy is crucial for driving cohesive and effective growth initiatives.
  • • Leveraging technology and data will be essential. You will utilize sales tools and technologies such as Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to drive team productivity, monitor performance, and make data-informed decisions to refine strategies and tactics.
  • • You will contribute to a dynamic, growth-oriented environment that encourages continuous improvement, innovation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Embracing new methodologies and adapting to evolving market trends will be vital.
  • • The role demands a results-oriented mindset, with a keen focus on achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and contributing directly to the company's revenue generation goals. You will be responsible for setting clear expectations, tracking progress, and celebrating successes.
  • • As part of a rapidly growing company that has achieved significant milestones, such as surpassing $400M in ARR and being recognized on the Forbes Cloud 100, you will be joining a team that is at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation. 1Password is pioneering Extended Access Management and is trusted by over 180,000 businesses worldwide.
  • • You will play a part in shaping how 1Password connects with prospects and customers, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to security, productivity, and a human-centric approach. This includes understanding and communicating the value proposition of our market-leading enterprise password manager and our innovative cybersecurity solutions.
  • • The company culture emphasizes collaboration, clear communication, receptiveness to feedback, and a commitment to core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first. You will be joining a team that challenges the status quo, embraces experimentation, and strives for excellence in a fast-paced environment.
  • • You will be encouraged to embrace the future of technology, including AI and ML, in your daily work. This involves actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions that help close the gap between security and privacy.
  • • Occasional travel may be required for department-wide offsites, quarterly meetings, and customer events, averaging about once per month for leadership roles. In-person onboarding in Toronto is also a requirement for all go-to-market roles.
  • • This role is based in Austin, Texas, and is a hybrid position, requiring a balance of remote work and in-office presence to foster collaboration and team cohesion.
