- • As a Manager, Business Development at Equip Health Inc., you will play a pivotal role in expanding access to evidence-based eating disorder treatment by cultivating strategic partnerships with health plans across the United States. Working closely with the VP of Payor Strategy & Partnerships and the CEO, your efforts will directly contribute to Equip’s mission of ensuring that everyone with an eating disorder can access effective, virtual care—making this role critical to scaling impact and driving sustainable growth in a mission-driven organization recognized as one of Time’s most influential companies of 2023.
- • You will own and maintain a disciplined, accurate business development pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring full visibility across all stages of the funnel while aligning opportunities with company growth priorities over a 12–24 month horizon. This includes tracking prospect engagement, forecasting deal progression, and partnering with leadership to identify and prioritize high-value accounts for targeted engagement strategies.
- • You will support executive-level outreach by preparing tailored materials, talking points, and follow-up content for conversations with health plan stakeholders, driving momentum through strategic opportunities by coordinating internal resources and maintaining consistent follow-through to advance deals from initial conversation through contracting and launch.
- • You will identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers across clinical, network, and innovation teams within health plans, leveraging your ability to build trust quickly with stakeholders ranging from analysts to C-suite leaders while demonstrating kindness, credibility, and a strong drive to close meaningful partnerships that expand patient access.
- • You will thrive in a fast-moving, remote-first environment alongside senior leadership, bringing curiosity, proactivity, and exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple complex opportunities simultaneously while maintaining rigorous pipeline hygiene and delivering compelling written and verbal communications for strategic discussions.

- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in healthcare payor dynamics, enterprise sales cycles, and strategic partnership development within the digital health space, while honing your leadership, negotiation, and Salesforce-driven pipeline management skills—positioning you for continued growth in business development, healthcare strategy, or executive leadership roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field is required.
- • 5–8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, consulting, or sales within healthcare, digital health, or health plan environments.
- • Proven experience engaging with health plans and navigating complex enterprise sales cycles, including contracting and launch support.
- • Strong Salesforce proficiency with demonstrated discipline in pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity tracking.
- • Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders from analyst to C-suite levels.
- • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and follow-through.
