- • As the Manager, Business Development for Germany, you will be instrumental in shaping and scaling Wayflyer's presence within the crucial German market. This leadership role is based in our vibrant Berlin office and centers on building, mentoring, and driving a high-performing team of outbound Business Development Representatives (BDRs).
- • Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategic initiatives that not only keep Wayflyer ahead of the competitive landscape but also continuously elevate our sales performance. This involves crafting both short-term tactical plans and medium-term strategic roadmaps to ensure sustained growth and market leadership.
- • A key focus will be on optimizing the sales funnel, ensuring that Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) are effectively converted into tangible sales opportunities. You will be directly accountable for supporting and driving the overall growth of the sales pipeline, a critical metric for Wayflyer's success.
- • You will play a pivotal role in talent development, responsible for hiring, training, and coaching your BDR team. This includes instilling a deep understanding of Wayflyer's unique value proposition and equipping them with the skills to articulate it compellingly to potential clients.
- • Motivating your team to consistently exceed their monthly targets will be paramount. You will foster a culture of high achievement, providing the necessary support, resources, and encouragement to ensure your BDRs are not just meeting but surpassing their goals.
- • Acting as a crucial liaison, you will ensure seamless alignment and collaboration between the BDR team and the Account Executive (AE) unit. This bridge-building function is vital for a smooth handoff of qualified leads and a unified approach to client engagement.
- • You will collaborate closely with the Enablement team to ensure the successful onboarding of new hires, providing them with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to thrive. Furthermore, you will contribute to the delivery of new training initiatives designed to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the entire BDR unit.
- • A significant part of your role will involve identifying opportunities for process improvement across sales operations. You will partner with executive leadership to streamline workflows, implement best practices, and enhance overall operational efficiency within the sales function.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing fintech company that is revolutionizing how businesses access capital. You will be at the forefront of Wayflyer's expansion in Germany, making a tangible impact on our global mission to empower businesses.
- • You will be expected to leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making, identify trends, and optimize team performance. A data-driven approach is essential for success in this dynamic environment.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of outbound sales methodologies and a proven ability to adapt and innovate within a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
- • You will contribute to fostering a positive and high-performance team culture, embodying Wayflyer's values of integrity, creativity, and bold optimism.
- • This position requires a leader who can inspire, guide, and develop talent, ensuring the German Business Development team becomes a cornerstone of Wayflyer's European success.
- • You will be responsible for setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance reviews to foster continuous improvement and professional growth within your team.
- • The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, anticipating challenges and developing effective solutions before they impact performance.
- • You will be a key player in representing Wayflyer in the German market, building relationships with potential clients and partners, and contributing to the company's overall brand reputation and market penetration.
- • Success in this role means not only achieving individual and team targets but also contributing to the strategic direction and operational excellence of Wayflyer's sales organization in Germany and beyond.
